Homeowner rebates are now available in the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) and Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) territories. These are offered through Energy Upgrade California, a statewide program supported by utilities and local government energy efficiency funds.
Rebates grow with the energy you save. In the PG&E territory, utility rebates range from $1,000 to $3,500, and in the SMUD territory from $1,000 to $5,000.
